Must Buy: Floral Maxi from Target

In a couple hours I’ll be poolside in Florida with The Martian by Andy Weir and will be gearing up for 5 days of sun + fun with one of my favorite ladies. I kind of failed to plan in advance for what to bring on this trip—-but I’m so thankful that my local Target totally came through with some cute warm weather items, including this Maxi Dress ($29.99) that is going to get worn way too much on this trip and all spring + summer. And just to distract you they also launched all of their 2015 Bikinis (sorry! And also sign me up for this one)!  I adore this maxi because it has sleeves, which make it a great transition piece for spring. It also has an adorable back design, and it isn’t SUPER long. I’m 5’3 and this dress is about .5 inches off the floor for me, making it a perfect length for petite gals, or a fun ankle-length if you’re taller. Plus, its pretty loose through the waist and butt so it’s comfortable—definitely not one of those cotton maxis that have you sucking in, ya know? I’ve paired the dress with a Denim Jacket from H&M (last year, similar here) and this Gorjana Pendant Necklace ($90.00).
